opened its first club in St. Pete Beach, Florida in May, 1986.
Today this venue is the longest running club in Florida.
Over the years, Coconuts has had clubs throughout the United States
as well as the Caribbean and Europe.
As Florida's longest running comedy club, help us celebrate over 26 years of stand-up comedy. This year we are dedicating all of our shows in memory of Uncle Dow Thomas, our most requested comedian, a good person and a great friend, who passed away January 18, 2012.
comedians on the Coconuts Comedy Club tour come from all over the United
States and Canada, and are all top quality performers. Their credits
include appearances on national television (The Tonight Show with Jay
Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, HBO and Showtime Comedy Specials,
MTV, A&E, and Comedy Central), major motion pictures, sitcoms, and
as opening acts on national concert tours. Many of these comedians go
on to be the superstars of tomorrow. Although the names and faces change
week to week, the quality of the show is always top-notch and consistently
funny. Non-stop laughs keep our audiences coming back time after time
making Coconuts Comedy Club "The Nuttiest Place in Town".
